We are people of faith who not only gather in worship but also gather in community service. As we work together and share our resources, we are better able to love our neighbors and assist people who are in need.

Community can be a very vague term. For us, it is all about a real promise that we make to our neighbors and to each other. We promise to love in truth and to be helpful to one another. We at Immanuel show our care for others by giving to food banks, visiting the homebound, hosting benefit dinners and outings, funding local and worldwide missionaries, and supporting orphanages and pregnancy care centers.

Jesus said in John 13:34-35

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another:
just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.
By this, all people will know that you are my disciples if you have love for one another.
